Edmond helps clients and partners around the world deliver responsible Healthcare and innovative HealthTech solutions and technology. HealthTech (Healthcare Technology) includes BioTech (Biotechnology) and non-biological MedTech (Medical Technology).

 

Right out of medical residency, Edmond joined Military Medicine Institute of Singapore, where he was trained in military medicine, sports and defence technologies. 

 

Edmond next obtained his Fellowship in Surgery from Edinburgh (UK) and worked extensively with surgical devices and clinical trials. 

 

Edmond later attained his Techno MBA (High Honours) in Boston (USA) and kept working with technology in Health, Life Sciences, AI, Finance & Energy.

 

Over 3 decades Edmond has worked in over 3 continents, and in over 3 vertical industries.

 

Edmond works with USA, Europe, MENA, MESA, LATAM, APAC, ANZ & ASEAN. 

 

Edmond has over 3 decades of global industry experience in clinical practice, corporate health & wellness, corporate psychology, medical education, healthcare management & regulation, compliance, HealthTech, AI, FinTech, ERP, energy, startups & capital funding.

Edmond represented Johnson & Johnson Innovation JLABS in a Startup Pitch Competition in Shanghai. Fellow presenters were professors and award winning HealthTech researchers of 3 decades standing in Europe, North America & Asia Pacific. 

Over 40 years of experience in senior leadership role with demonstrated Expertise in crisis management and change management across industries. 

 

Recruited trained and managed a motivated team to develop and expand business opportunities while improving the efficiency in operations, meeting and exceeding laid down objectives while maintaining and adhering to given protocols and standards. 

 

Have in depth knowledge of the healthcare industry to include financial planning and management, improving margins while maintaining quality of service and outcomes, expanding business opportunities and logistics planning. 

 

*Army Carrier (1981 -2011)*

• Served in the Indian Army for over 30 years in areas across India in operational areas and as an Instructor in the Indian Military Academy and other training establishments including training Sri Lankan officers in India and Bhutan Army personnel in Bhutan. 

 

*Fortis Hospitals (2011 - 2020)*

• Served with Fortis Hospitals for 8 1/2 years in senior leadership role to include an assignment in Uganda as COO of International Hospital Kampala. Demonstrated accomplishments in running and turning around hospitals and healthcare centres by involving business heads, doctors and senior administrators.

 

• Completed MBA in Hospital Administration while working with Fortis Healthcare to enhance professional development

• Set up and launched Medidect India Lab as part of Millennium Oncology India as CEO and launched their Cancer Screening blood test PanTum Detect in India.

Michael SPICER: CEO, Founder & Visionary, Digital Vision | Digital Avatar Tech Evangelist | Conversational AI & Metaverse Strategist (ANZ & Global)

 

As the co-founder and CEO of Digital Vision, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that leverages blockchain technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to create immersive and engaging experiences, I am a metaverse strategist and expert studying towards a Master of Technological Futures (MTF) degree from The Mind Lab.
